Mr. Chairman, I would simply like to thank my colleagues for their report of the meeting of Presidents Kuchma, Putin, and Voronin. It is heartening to hear that they were able to agree on next steps to improve cooperation among their three governments.

We will look forward to positive results from the forthcoming meeting of the heads of border services of these three participating States. We very much hope that the next report will bring news of agreement on concrete measures to improve cooperation along the common border between Ukraine and Moldova.
