We just wanted to echo you that we are also deeply concerned about the developing hostage-taking situation in Moscow. The targeting of innocent civilians is never acceptable.

We express our sympathy to the Russian delegation, and the family and friends of those involved in the crisis.

We also express our hope for a quick settlement of the hostage-taking without the loss of life.
