Deputy Chief of the U.S. Mission to the OSCE
Kyle Scott, Deputy Chief of the U.S. Mission to the OSCEKyle Scott, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, has been serving as Deputy Chief of the U.S. Mission to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (USOSCE) in Vienna, Austria since November 2005.

Mr. Scott's career as a Foreign Service Officer for the Department of State has spanned more than 20 years and six overseas postings.

He began in Zagreb, Croatia and has also served at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York as well as at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva. Mr. Scott was a Political officer in Israel, serving during the negotiation of the Oslo Accords through the peace treaty with Jordan. Mr. Scott also covered foreign policy during the Yeltsin years at the U.S. embassy in Moscow, and served as Political Counselor in Budapest, Hungary as that country prepared for EU enlargement. Prior to his arrival at USOSCE, Mr. Scott was the Political Minister Counselor at the U.S. Mission to the EU.

Mr. Scott is married and has two sons.
