On October 18, Ambassador Kelly hosted Norman Eisen, U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic and former Special Counsel to the White House, who addressed a group of Economic and Environmental Officers (EEOs) from the OSCE field offices in Yerevan, Baku, Astana, Sarajevo, Dushanbe, Tirana, and Ashgabat, as well as the Coordinator for OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities and staff.

The focus of Ambassador Eisen's presentation was Good Governance from the Top Down incorporating the four active participants key to a healthy democracy: civil society, educated media, transparent business and open government.  He detailed the numerous ethics and legislative reforms put in place during his two years in the White House and then fielded questions from the EEOs inviting them to share their experiences.
