2009 OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM)

The Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) is the OSCE's most important human rights event of the year.

At this conference representatives of governments and civil society from the 56 participating States review the implementation of the existing commitments and the procedures and mechanisms for monitoring and enhancing compliance with these commitments.

The 2009 OSCE HDIM took place in Warsaw, Poland, from September 28 to October 9, 2009. Dr. Michael Haltzel led the U.S. delegation to the 2009 HDIM.
