Thank you, Madam Chair.
I will indeed be brief. I just wanted to comment quickly on the list of human rights concerns that the distinguished representative of the Russian Federation talked about. The interesting thing, of course, is he knows about these incidents largely because individuals and organizations within the United States have brought them to light, and when they do bring such allegations to light, they are investigated, and perpetrators are often brought to justice. This contrasts, of course, with what happens in the Russian Federation, where when individuals or organizations bring such allegations to light, they themselves are then arrested and tortured.
