The United States takes this opportunity to stress once more that the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia are integral parts of Georgia. We reiterate our strong support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. Therefore, we share the concerns of other participating States regarding this draft “treaty,” including its possible implications for discussions within the Geneva format.
